Arthur G. May
Principal and Founder

As principal and founder, Art is responsible for establishing new business and development
opportunities for Keystone.  Art also manages client relationships and leads the firms strategic
planning and financial modeling services.  Prior to forming Keystone, Art was a partner with
the Shelton Group, where he oversaw development of office, R & D, and industrial projects.
Prior to Shelton Group, Art was Vice President of Development for the Kimpton Hotel and
Restaurant Group where he manage the acquisition and development activities in several
East and West Coast markets. Art also served as Regional Vice President for Homestead
Village and Vice President for SCG Multifamily Development (now Archstone-Smith and both
companies were affiliates of Security Capital Group, Inc.). Art also served as Vice President
and CFO of Western Development Group and a construction project manager in the Pacific
Northwest. Art received his MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and
earned a B.S. in Construction Management, cum laude and a B.A. in Architecture, cum laude,
from the University of Washington. Art is an active member of Urban Land Institute and is a
Certified Green Point Professional.



Lisa A. Strope
Development Director

Lisa is responsible for the acquisition and development efforts in San Francisco and the
Peninsula.  Prior to joining Keystone, Lisa was a development manager with SummerHill
Homes, (a Marcus & Millichap Company) where she contributed to the development of 490
single and multi-family, in-fill homes. Lisa was also engaged in internships with Emmes Asset
Management Company, LLC and Booz Allen & Hamilton’s Real Estate Consulting Group as
well as worked as a Business Development and Marketing Manager with Flad & Associates
Architecture. Lisa received her MBA from New York University, with an emphasis in real estate
finance and also earned a B.A. from Cornell University.
